High-efficiency Run Around Coil(HRAC)
The heat recovery coil is a closed-loop energy recovery heat exchanger that transfers heat between two airflows using an intermediate medium (such as water or glycol). It is commonly used to recover heat from exhaust gases generated by building ventilation systems or industrial processes, and to preheat the supply of fresh air.
The main advantage is that the exhaust and supply airflows can be spatially separated, preventing them from mixing and eliminating the risk of cross-contamination. Additional benefits include the facilitation of alternative energy use and the recovery of potential waste heat, such as from solar collectors or wastewater from other resources. It is also suitable for various forms of polluted air, such as in hospitals, laboratories, and chemical plants.
Traditional heat recovery systems have relatively low efficiency, ranging from 40% to 60%. With our unique loop design, we are able to achieve a heat recovery efficiency of ≥70% (based on EN13053 standards).
